REMINDERS:
Sunday Class at Grace Community Church on
Old Jacksonville Rd., August 1, Room 3 in the Chapel
Building, 9:30 AM
In our study of the Gospel of John, we
see that in Chapter 17
In His high priestly prayer (John 17), Jesus says that
He has given to us who believe in Him the same glory that the Father
has given Him. He furthermore asks the Father that we would be
with Him so we could see His glory which He had before the foundation
of the world.
What an amazing promise. Yet
another assurance that we will be with Him in Heaven for all
eternity.
Carl Weber,as usual, will be leading in
the time asking for prayer requests. You will not want to miss the class this Sunday.

MINISTRY
AT GREEN ACRES BAPTIST
CHURCH
We are planning to concentrate on the Fall, Winter and Spring Special Courses at Green
Acres Baptist Church, the Lord willing In October, our plan is to present the Biblical Eschatology (end time prophecies) vs. the Pagan Escatologies, such as the Muslim 12th Imam, the Eco Global Warming, the Mayan and New Age 2012, and the Anunnaki concept.
These pagan groups have developed cult
followings throughout the world, and they are drawing many people, especially youth, into their unbiblical orbit. It is important for our people to understand the truth.
Then in the Winter Course we plan to do a Survey of the Old Testament, and a Survey of the New Testament in the Spring. Jack Jones and David Pierson have already been excellent leaders in our ministry thus far at GABC, and
we look forward to their continuing leadership in the months ahead.
Monday Luncheon Bible Class at Ryan’s Steak House on
South Broadway, August 2, at 11:45 AM
We are currently studying the Book of Genesis, Chapter 3, which explains how the human race fell away from our Creator in Adam, when he ate of the forbidden fruit.
Both spiritual death and physical death became a reality in the human
experience.
Adam and Eve tried to cover their shame with vegetation, and they hid from the presence of the
Lord God with whom they had had perfect fellowship before. But God called them to Him, and then began the conversation with both bad and good news that has impacted the world ever since.
Bob Dulin will moderate the class, and lead our people in prayer requests, as usual.

Tuesday, August 3, there is a men’s Luncheon Class that meets at 11:45 AM at Marvin United Methodist Church
on the Second Floor opposite the elevator. The cost is $7.00 each. To make a reservation, call the church office 903-592-7396 and tell them you are attending the men’s class.
In Ephesians 2 Paul develops the
theme that both Jews and Gentiles who believe in the
Lord Jesus Christ are made one in the body of Christ.
We Gentiles who have come to believe in the Messiah of Israel,
the Lord Jesus Christ, are fellow citizens with the Jewish believers in
Christ, and are growing into a holy temple in the Lord.
Judge Tom Ramey will be the MC for the class
and will be inviting prayer requests.
